Nellie Elrod Voyles
Nellie Elrod Volyes, 91 of Hayesville, North Carolina, formerly of Murphy, North Carolina, died Saturday December 6, 2008. Nellie was a native of Fannin County, Georgia and the daughter of the late Pearley Elrod and Carrie Mason Elrod Nation. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Voyles, two brothers, Henry Elrod and Walter Elrod.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; two grandsons; a niece; and two nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, North Carolina. Interment was in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, North Carolina.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
